Mayor Elorza to officially sign 2017 budget

Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza is scheduled to sign the Fiscal Year 2017 budget Tuesday.
He says his budget is “aimed at strengthening every neighborhood in Providence”.
Mayor Elorza will be joined by City Council members and Providence Public School Superintendent Chris Maher to officially sign the budget.
The ceremony is taking place at 2:45 at the Sackett Street Recreation Center.
