Mayor Picozzi: Warwick hit by IT issues, tax bills will go out late

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Mayor Frank Picozzi announced the city of Warwick is experiencing severe IT issues.

In a post on Facebook, Mayor Picozzi said it will not be a “fast fix.”

In response, Picozzi said the city can’t issue tax bills, so they won’t go out next week.

There will be no interest or penalty charges.

Picozzi says there is no word on how long the delay will be.
