MBTA train strikes tractor-trailer in Littleton

LITTLETON, Mass. (WLNE) — An MBTA Commuter Rail train struck a tractor-trailer truck on a crossing in Littleton on Monday.

WCVB Boston reported delays for several MBTA trains after the collision around noon.

MBTA Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan said no injuries were reported, per WCVB.

Officials said the crossing gates were operating as intended prior to the crash.

Sullivan added that the incident is still under investigation.
