McCormick Bridge closures through Tuesday

East Providence, R.I. — Commuters get ready for another rapid replacement bridge closure in East Providence Friday night.

Beginning Friday at 9 p.m., crews will shutdown the McCormick Quarry Bridge over Warren Avenue until Tuesday morning.

Sections of Warren Avenue near Pawtucket and Highland Avenue will remain open to local traffic.

Much like the East Shore Expressway, this will be an 80 hour replacement project. Under traditional construction methods, the project would take a year to complete.
