McKee declares June 21 ‘Joe Mazzulla Day’

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Gov. Dan McKee declared June 21 “Joe Mazzulla Day” in honor of the Celtics’ victory parade after their 18th NBA Finals victory.
Mazzulla is a Johnston native who played for the Bishop Hendricken High School Basketball team.
McKee said that Rhode Islanders can “take pride” in both the coach and the team’s accomplishments.
Parade Day!
As Rhode Island native Joe Mazzulla and the @celtics celebrate #Banner18, I’m happy to recognize today as ‘Joe Mazzulla Day’ in Rhode Island.
