PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Gov. Dan McKee signed the “Let RI Vote Act” at a ceremony on Wednesday.

Many of the voting changes implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic will now be permanent.

Voters across the state will be able to fill out mail-in ballot applications online. The legislation also means voters will no longer need two witnesses or a notarized signature to vote by mail.
