McKee to pitch budget increase for senior support centers
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee will continue discussing his vision for the 2026 budget Tuesday, focusing on new investments in the state’s senior support centers.
The governor’s office said he’s proposing an increase of $1.6 million in the 2026 budget for senior support services.
The governor will be joined by the state Office of Healthy Aging’s director, Maria Cimini to discuss the increase.
That press conference is at 1:30 p.m. at the Federal Hill House in Providence.
