McKee to tout primary care plan in wake of pending Anchor Medical closure

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Governor Dan McKee will outline his plans to strengthen the state’s primary care system Tuesday.

Citing the recent closure of Anchor Medical, the governor said his office’s series of “short-term and long-term strategic actions” will bolster the Ocean State’s primary care system.

He’ll be joined by health services representatives for the announcement at 10 a.m. at the State House.
