Measles Case Confirmed In Massachusetts

By: Liz Tufts
Doctors say parents shouldn’t be worried about measles in Massachusetts.
A high school student visiting from Western Europe has tested positive.
Health officials say that student visited several popular spots in Boston, dined at restaurants and even took the train, but doctors say the chances of it becoming an outbreak is very slim.
95 percent of all students are vaccinated in Massachusetts and 96-percent in Rhode Island.
Health officials say if you’ve visited the same places to call your doctor immediately and keep an eye out for any symptoms, which include a rash, runny nose and a fever.
