Body found on 2nd Beach in Middletown Wednesday morning

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (WLNE) – A body was found on 2nd Beach in Middletown on Wednesday morning.

Both the Middletown Police and Fire Departments responded to the Surfers End part of the beach at around 7 a.m.

Medical examiners were also on scene earlier in the day, inspecting the body of the dead 48-year-old woman. They were able to conclude that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
