HARTFORD, CONN. — The controversial memorial planned for the Connecticut mother who went missing at sea is now back on.

The Hartford Courant reports that the family and friends of Linda Carman have been invited to a memorial service at an undisclosed location.

The Hartford Diocese cancelled the ceremony at a West Hartford church planned by her son Nathan Carman.

The lawyer representing Linda’s sisters previously called the memorial “premature and inappropriate” while the investigation into her death remains on going.

That service did not have the consent from Linda’s siblings.
