Memorial services begin today for Kylee Monteiro

REHOBOTH, Mass. (WLNE) — Services begin today for 18-year-old Kylee Monteiro.

Kylee was reported missing in Rehoboth on August 7.

Her body was found in the yard of her ex-boyfriend’s home on August 19, according to police.

Her ex, 22-year-old Gregory Groom is facing murder charges after prosecutors say he admitted to killing her.

Kylee is being remembered as a bright and spirited young woman with a vibrant personality.

Visiting hours begin today and the funeral begins tomorrow.

Instead of flowers, the family is asking for donations to New Hope, a Mass-based domestic violence organization.
