Mental Health Association RI to kick off Mental Health Awareness Month

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Mental Health Association of Rhode Island and fellow state partners will officially kick off Mental Health Awareness Month.
Today at 1:30 p.m. at the State House, a ceremony will be held to highlight the important of mental health, timely access to behavioral healthcare services, and supporting those in recovery.
House Majority Leader Christopher Blazejewski (District 2 Providence) and Deputy Senate Majority Leader Melissa Murray (District 24 Woonsocket, North Smithfield) will be honored, and will receive Legislator of the Year awards.
