Michelle Collins named ‘The View’s’ new Co-Host

Writer and Comedian Michelle Collins has been named as the new Co-Host for ABC’s ‘The View’ starting September.
Collins will begin in September, as their 15th Co-Host, when ‘The View,’ a live one-hour talk show on ABC, returns for their 19th season. It is available online daily at 4 p.m. on ABC.
“These past few months have been the most fun and exciting of my career, and I couldn't be happier to join such an awesome, smart, accomplished and funny group of women,” said Collins in a statement.
Executive Producer Bill Wolff said “She is lightning quick, has strong opinions and is wickedly funny. Our entire staff is looking forward to her joining the show.”
Collins was featured on VH1’s ‘Walk of Shame Shuttle’ and has served as a host on ‘The Gossip Queens.’
She also won two Webby Awards for Best Celebrity/Fan Blog while working at VH1’s’Best Week Ever.’
