Middleborough crash leaves teen driver dead, passenger seriously injured

MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Middleborough investigators are working to piece together a Sunday crash that killed a teenager.

Middleborough police arrived on Marion Road to find a car had crashed into a tree with the driver trapped inside just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

The 18-year-old from East Bridgewater was freed from the wreckage and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police said a passenger in the car was also taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
