Middleborough man arrested in Dartmouth on narcotics charges

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — The Dartmouth Police Department said that a Middleborough man was arrested on narcotics charges after a motor vehicle accident.
20-year-old Shawn Walsh was charged with with possession with intent to distribute Class B, possession with intent to distribute Class E, and possession with intent to distribute Class C.
Police responded to the area of Faunce Corner around midnight on June 15 for a car that struck a tree.
The responding officer alleged that they observed a baggie containing suspected Psilocybin and a large amount of cash inside the vehicle.
A search of the scene allegedly located pills suspected to be Oxycodone and Xanax, a Psilocybin chocolate bar, Marijuana vape cartridges, $1,262 in cash, a Glock style BB gun, a black ski mask, and additional items believed to be used in the illegal sale of narcotics.
