MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — A Middleborough man accused of stabbing a man to death on June 28 was held without bail on Monday, according to Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz.

41-year-old Andrew Horsman was charged with murder.

On June 28, police responded to a home on Fairview Street around 8 p.m. for reports of a fight and a man stabbed.

There they found 66-year-old Paul Pomerleau with multiple stab wounds, who was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses told detectives that an argument at the house led up to the stabbing, according to the Plymouth Country District Attorney’s office.

Horsman was allegedly found nearby the residence and was taken into custody without incident.

Police said the victim was in a long-term relationship with Horsman’s mother.

Horsman was arraigned and held without bail on Monday.
