Midweek Cooldown

After the marvelous day Tuesday where we topped out in the lower-60s, temperatures will take a tumble for midweek. Wednesday morning will start in the 40s for most, much milder than the average low of 29. Sunshine will be with us from the start, but a cooler wind from the northwest will bring in cooler Canadian air at the same time. As a result, temperatures will be seasonable topping out in the mid-40s. A small area of low pressure will come through Southern New England tonight with the slightest chance of a show shower for norther Providence County and northern Bristol County in Massachusetts. A dusting is the worst cast scenario for accumulation, otherwise expect Thursday to be mostly cloudy and cool with highs near 45. Warmer air comes back for Friday and Saturday as both days will have a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the 50s. Sunday will be cloudy and much warmer in the lower-60s thanks to a warm front. Sunday night into Monday morning a strong cold front comes through with rain that will be heavy at times. St. Patrick’s Day on Monday will be mainly cloudy and cooler with highs in the 50s.
