Mild Labor Day on tap
Staying dry until the end of the week
Today isn’t just Labor Day – September 1st is the first day of meteorological Fall, and it’s feeling a bit like Fall out there today! Temperatures are in the 50s and 60s to start off the day, and we’ll be in the low-to-mid 70s by this afternoon. Skies today will have more of a filtered sunshine than the last few days as some high clouds stream in from the south. If you’re heading out to the beach today, expect a bit of a breeze as well!
This week will be dry and mild for the most part with high temperatures in the 70s – but humidity will be on the increase by midweek. It will be noticeably more humid on Thursday, and this gives way to some showers and storms on Friday as a cold front rolls through. Some folks could pick up more than half an inch of much-needed rainfall as a result! It looks like there may be a lingering shower on Saturday too.
Have a great Labor Day!
