Mini heat-wave starts tomorrow, weekend trending in wrong direction

What a gorgeous Wednesday it was with ample sun and comfortably warm temperatures.

A couple of beach days will round out the work week, as highs soar to near 90 inland tomorrow and Friday.

A cold front approaching from the north will lead to some showers or thunderstorms late in the day Friday.

Right now the weekend is looking a little bleak. Saturday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers, and Sunday has also been trending in the wrong direction.

An area of low pressure will likely form and stall just offshore, which could lead to a dreary pattern all the way through Tuesday.

The other story is the temperatures – a whopping 20-30 degrees cooler!

Stay tuned for updates in the coming days as this weekend scenario will likely get tweaked a bit and we can fine tune the timing and amounts of rain.

Have a great night!
