Minnesota man pleads guilty and sentenced for creating fake nude images, sending threatening texts to Boston College student

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE)- Eric Bolduan, 47, of Rochester, Minnesota was sentenced to 14 months in prison, three years of supervised release for sending threatening emails to a Boston College student. He pleaded guilty to one count of transmitting in interstate commerce a threat to injure another person.
Bolduan downloaded pictures of the student from social media pages, and found pornographic images of woman with a similar body type and combined the two to depict false pornographic images of the student.
Afterwards, Bouldan continued to harass the woman with threatening emails. The U.S. Attorney’s office released one of those emails,
I noticed the attached photo of you online and wanted to follow up with you. I’m going to find you this summer. Once I’ve got you I will have my way with your body for several days, until I finally tire of you. You will experience things that will give you nightmares for the rest of your life. I want to look into your eyes as you experience pain at levels you never imagined were possible. By the time I’m done with you your body will be shattered and broken. I promise that you’ll never be the same again.
Bouldan furthered his harassment by sending a mass email to the college with the victims name and the same images he had created.
While searching his residence in 2017, Bouldan admitted to harassing and threatening the victim, including admitting that he sent the emails.
Bouldan has been ordered to have no contact with the victim, and must pay restitutions to her.
