Mobster expected to plead guilty in connection to 1992 murder

New England mobster Robert “Bobby" DeLuca will plead guilty Friday for providing false statements in the 1992 murder of Kevin Hanrahan.

According to court documents obtained by ABC6 News, DeLuca has agreed with the  Rhode Island Attorney General to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit murder.

In a separate case, DeLuca is charged with lying to investigators in the 1993 murder of Boston nightclub owner Steven DiSarro.

DiSarro’s remains were found behind a mill in Providence in March.’
