Mom told to pump in airport’s pet relief room

By News Staff
A Massachusetts mom is upset after airport officials told her to use her breast pump in a pet relief room.
Liz Cooper of Newton was headed to Pennsylvania when she had a layover in Washington, D.C.
It was her first time flying without her 4-month-old, and she needed to use her breast pump.
Cooper asked for a private place to pump, and was shocked when an airline employee showed her the pet relief room.
Inside, Cooper said there was no door, only a red fire hydrant for the dogs.
The airline now says it plans to apologize to Cooper.
