More fantastic weather after a quick downpour Saturday evening

This week has been something else in the weather department!

We saw a cloudy start to the day Friday, but the sun still found its way by the afternoon.

Rip currents and surf became elevated at the beaches as a storm out to sea passes not to far from New England. This will continue into Saturday, so be careful near the water!

Saturday will feature more cloud cover from start to finish, with some breaks of sun along the way. It will also feel a touch more humid as a cold from approaches from the west.

This will bring a brief round of showers between 7pm and 11pm from west to east. The rain should be in and out within an hour or so for point locations.

Futurecast

Skies clear out by midnight and Sunday looks sensational! Full blue skies, comfortable temperatures (morning 50s/60s, afternoon highs around 70) and crisp dry air.

The work week looks stunning, with cool morning and warm afternoons. By midweek, we should be topping 80, and we could even reach 85 by week’s end!

Have a great weekend.

Geoff
