More Gaspee Days charity license plates available Saturday

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Motor Vehicles and Gaspee Days Committee said that more Gaspee Days charity license plates will be available for distribution on Saturday.
Gaspee Days Committee Director Judy Hoffman said that plates ordered on or before Sept. 15 can be picked up between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the Gamm Theater, 1245 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick.
Those picking up a plate will need to show a photo I.D. and a current car registration for the plate.
Hoffman added that plates that are not picked up on Saturday will be available after Oct. 30 at the DMV in Cranston, 600 New London Ave.
Hoffman said that over 700 pre-orders will be ready to be picked up.
“The plate fees help support the Gaspee Days Committee’s annual festivities,” she added.
