Mostly sunny today, becoming humid tomorrow
A passing shower is possible overnight tonight and early tomorrow morning
We have another day of bright blue skies and abundant sunshine in store for today, but some changes are on the way. This afternoon, temperatures will be in the middle-to-upper 70s inland, and you’ll begin to notice humidity increase a bit. This trend continues overnight into tomorrow with a noticeably more humid feel. We also have a chance for a spotty shower overnight tonight into early tomorrow morning but after that, tomorrow is shaping up to be mostly dry with an almost summer-like feel. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 70s and low 80s inland.
That’s good news for PVDFest, which kicks off downtown tomorrow around 5p. It looks like it will be mostly sunny at that time with temperatures in the upper 70s, eventually dropping to just around 70 by the time festivities wrap up around 10. Saturday’s activities look mostly dry as well, but a second cold front approaches late in the day which brings a chance for showers and even a rumble of thunder late in the evening into the overnight hours. For now, it looks like they hold off until after PVDFest ends at 9pm Saturday, but this timing is something to keep a very close eye on.
Heading into next week, it looks like our brief shot of summer comes to an end with high temperatures dropping into the low 70s.
Have a great Thursday!
