Right back to the good stuff Tuesday

We have returned to clear skies tonight, perfect for those of you heading out to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower peak.

Tomorrow we’ll see more sunshine and, after a calm and cool morning, temperatures will bounce back into the upper 70s and low 80s.

Another great day is in store for Wednesday, where we’ll be back in the low 80s with continued sunshine, and an overall dry feel. A stretch of super summer days.

Thursday, however, brings the next chance of rain. A backdoor front will push south later in the day and bring the threat for scattered showers.

The weekend could also features some showers, though does not look like a washout either day.

Down in the tropics, Ernesto has formed just east of the Lesser Antilles. It will move near Puerto Rico before turning north/northeast and strengthening as it head towards Bermuda.

The storm looks likely to remain well offshore of New England late in the weekend, but we will likely see some big swells from the then hurricane.
