Motorcycle accident in Warwick leaves 2 injured

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — 2 people are injured this morning following a motorcycle crash last night in Warwick.

According to Warwick Police, a car was traveling on Main Avenue and attempted to take a left on Brentwood Avenue, when it made contact with a motorcycle.

The operator of the motorcycle was alert and conscious at the scene, and transported to Rhode Island Hospital for evaluation.

The operator of the car was transported to the hospital with complaints of pain.

“This should be a reminder that with the nicer weather here, motorcycles are on the road and motorists need to exercise due caution in order to keep everyone safe,” said Chief Bradford Connor of the Warwick Police in a statement.

The accident is still under investigation.
