UPDATE: State trooper identified after being struck by motorcyclist

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Massachusetts State Police told ABC6 News on Monday, that the trooper hit at Gillette Stadium will make a full recovery.
Troopers on-foot were trying to apprehend motorcyclist Jose Perez-Rodriguez, 25, of Everett, as he drove against traffic near the main entrance to Gillette Stadium when he hit one of them at parking lot P8, according to police.
The trooper, identified as State Police Captain Christopher Wilcox, was rushed by helicopter to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries, including a fractured skull.
Perez-Rodriguez is being treated for injuries at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
Authorities say Perez-Rodriguez was arraigned Monday in Wrentham District Court and faces 9 charges, one of which being assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Perez-Rodriguez was ordered to be held on 10 thousand dollars cash bail.
