Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash on Braga Bridge in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A Dartmouth man is in the hospital with serious injuries after a car and motorcycle collided on the Braga Bridge in Fall River Monday night.

According to Massachusetts State Police, troopers responded to a crash at 7:15 p.m. on the bridge between a Ford F-150 pickup truck, driven by a 72-year-old man from Michigan, and a motorcycle, driven by a 40-year-old man.

Troopers said the 40-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Ford was not injured in the crash and was driven home after the scene cleared just before 8 p.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
