ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said a man was arrested in Attleboro after he allegedly failed to stop for police on at least two occasions and caused a police pursuit.

Mohamed Jalloh, of East Bridgewater, was charged with failure to stop for police, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, breakdown lane violation, speeding, marked lane violation, and unsafe operation of a motor vehicle.

According to MSP, a Jeep Liberty failed to stop for state troopers on Route 24 South in Brockton around 2:30 a.m.

Officials said the vehicle had allegedly not stopped for both Brockton police and MSP.

The car then traveled from Route 24 South to Interstate 495 North, where MSP said troopers deployed stop sticks that caused the car to lose a tire and exit onto I-95 South.

After deploying a second stop stick near Exit 2A, the car lost control and crashed.

MSP said the driver allegedly left the car and fled into a wooded area in Attleboro on foot.

With the help of K-9s, Jalloh was found around 4 a.m. and arrested without incident.

Jalloh was arraigned, and his bail was set at $10,000.
