MSP: Swansea woman suffers life-threatening injuries in Foxborough crash

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — A 53-year-old woman from Swansea has suffered life-threatening injuries following a three vehicle crash on I-95 in Foxborough.
State Police said the crash trapped the victim in her Toyota RAV 4, which responders extricated her from.
The Foxborough Fire Department had tweeted that they were working at the serious crash between Exit 7 and Exit 8, which required a MedFlight to land on the highway.
She was transported by medical helicopter to Tufts Medical Center with serious, life-threatening injuries.
The drivers in the other cars, a 33 year old man from North Attleboro driving a Cadillac Escalade and 28 year old woman from Warwick in a Honda Coupe were not injured.
There is no word on cause or circumstances and the crash remains under investigation.
