MSPCA-Angell bringing in animals affected by Texas floods

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — MSPCA-Angell said that it was accepting 50 animals that had been displaced due to the catastrophic flooding in Texas.
The shelter said that the 20 cats and 30 dogs were all living in shelters prior to the floods.
MSPCA-Angell also sent two staff members to Texas to aid in the transport, and the animals are expected to arrive at Hanscom Field in Bedford on July 11.
The shelter said it was planning to host fee-waived adoption events for cats and dogs later in July.
