MSPCA-Angell ragdoll cat has successful surgery
BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — A purebred ragdoll cat, taken in by the MSPCA-Angell, has successfully recovered from his surgery.
Last week, Avatar the ragdoll cat, was brought into the MSPCA Boston Adoption Center with a leg injury.
Avatar’s original owners were located through his microchip. The MSPCA shared that the family was unable to take him back into their care due to life challenges.
After posting online about the $5,000 procedure and receiving dozens of donations, the Adoption Center was able to perform Avatar’s surgery.
The MSPCA shared the news that this lucky kitty has had an influx of adoption applications come through since the incident, which has officially prompted the Boston Adoption Center to close his adoption inquiry.
