MSPCA-Angell seeking information on matted, emaciated dog found in Boston
BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The MSPCA-Angell is seeking public assistance in learning how a young miniature poodle mix ended up emaciated and wandering Boston.
The “extremely skinny and very matted” dog, named Fiyero by the MSCPA-Angell Boston Adoption Center staff, was found in Boston on November 10.
He is believed to be approximately three-years-old and it is unknown how long he was living on the streets.
“Someone said they found Fiyero on Genova Ave. in Dorchester,” said MSPCA-Angell Vice President of Animal Protection, Mike Keiley.
“It’s possible that he has owners out there who are frantic to find him. It’s also possible that his owners are the reason that he was so skinny when he came in.”
The organization is working with Boston Animal Control to try and locate the dog’s owner.
Anyone with information on Fiyero is asked to contact MSPCA-Angell Law Enforcement at 617-522-6008 or 800-628-5808.
