MSPCA help save horse that fell through a barn floor
IPSWICH, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is sharing today that an 8-year-old horse that fell through a barn floor in Ipswich on Monday is expected to make a full recovery.
In a Facebook post, the MSPCA shared that the horse, named Valcour, fell through the floor of his stall and was trapped in between the levels of the barn.
His owner called for help and the specialized animal team for Large Animal Rescue rushed to the scene with first responders to help him.
According to officials, it took about four hours, but there was no life threatening injuries to the horse.
