Multi-vehicle crash in Taunton sends 6 to the hospital

TAUNTON, M.A. – Six people were rushed to the hospital Friday evening after three cars crashed into each other in Taunton.

According to police, a car ran a stop sign on Winthrop Street, subsequently colliding head-on with another car, causing a chain reaction where a third car was also hit.

Two people where transported to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries, while the other four people were transported to Morton Hospital for minor injuries.
