Multiple crashes on I-95 in Warwick disrupt morning commute

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Multiple crashes on Interstate 95 in Warwick caused significant traffic on Tuesday morning.

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said there were multiple crashes within an hour, on both the northbound and southbound lanes.

ABC 6 News saw multiple crashes, each with more than two cars — one vehicle was upside down.

The crashes caused heavy traffic starting around 6 a.m.

It was not immediately known if there were any injuries.
