Multiple crews respond to car into tree incident in Charlestown
CHARLESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Charlestown Richmond Fire Department personnel and other first responders responded to reports of a car into a house Thursday morning, according to a social media post from the department.
The incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m. when crews responded to 1130 Shannock Road for the reports.
Arriving personnel updated the incident as being a car into a tree.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to an area hospital after being evaluated at the scene.
The scene was cleared in about an hour.
Assisting in the response was Cross’ Mills Fire Department, Charlestown Ambulance Rescue Service and Charlestown Police Department personnel.
