Multiple police departments conduct series of raids across Rhode Island

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Officers from several police departments conducted a series of raids at locations across Rhode Island Thursday morning.

According to Pawtucket police, one of those locations was an apartment on Harrison Street, where police from Pawtucket, Providence and East Providence, along with an explosives team from the state fire marshals’ office, carried out a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation.

Officials haven’t given any other details but said no charges have been filed so far.
