Mystic Aquarium celebrates hatching of four African penguin chicks
MYSTIC, Conn. (WLNE) — Mystic Aquarium is welcoming four new additions to its African penguin colony.
The aquarium announced the hatching of four penguin chicks on January 6, 7, 9 and 10, according to a post on Twitter.
The post states that these new residents are vital to the species as the African penguin population has seen a 97% decline worldwide.
