NARRANGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health said Monday it reopened a beach club in Narragansett after bacteria counts in the water returned to “safe levels.”

Last week, the Department of Health closed Bonnet Shores Beach Club because bacteria levels were high.

The DOH said it will continue to monitor and review beach water quality through Labor Day. The status of the beach could change as new data becomes available.
