Narragansett restaurant asks for help identifying burglar caught on camera

NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — A local restaurant is asking the public for help identifying a man they said burglarized their business.

Salty’s Burgers and Seafood posted photos on social media of a man who they say broke into their location at Roger Wheeler State Beach Saturday night.

The man caught on video surveillance footage has a beard and was seen wearing a light-colored hoodie and long pants.

Salty’s reported the man smashed a safe, stole the crews tips and paychecks from the drawers, and damaged window shutters and registers.

The Department of Environmental Management fingerprinted the scene on Sunday.
