National committeemen endorse Fung for governor

Republican candidate for Governor Allan Fung has gained two key endorsements this

Rhode Island Republican National Committeeman Steven Frias and Committeewoman Carol Mumford have announced their endorsements for the Cranston Mayor.

Frias said he believes Fung is the only candidate with conservative values. “Ever since Mayor Fung entered public life, over a decade ago, he has always run as a Republican, and he has supported Republican candidates from the local level to the presidential level,” said Frias.

Frias attacked Fung’s Republican opponent Ken Block for supporting President Barack Obama in the past two elections.
