NEIT expands eligibility criteria for free college courses

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WLNE)- More high school students can now register for New England Institute of Technology’s free college courses, the school announced Monday.
Courses are now open to students who are home-schooled, and those who attend private school. Students must be residents of Rhode Island.
All required learning materials and tuition will be covered under the Rhode Island Department of Education.
This year, NEIT will offer 25 courses. All but one will take place in person.
Students have until June 11 to register.
