Neronha, Conn. AG file injunction to resume Revolution Wind construction

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha joined with his counterpart in Connecticut to file a preliminary injunction against the Trump administration over its stop work order against Revolution Wind.

The order froze construction on the wind farm, which is supposed to power homes in both states and was already 80 percent done.

The injunction would allow work to resume while a lawsuit makes its way through the courts.

Revolution Wind is under contract to start generating power by the end of next year.
