Neronha, other attorneys general to hold press conference on upcoming lawsuit
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Attorney General Peter Neronha announced on Wednesday that he and the attorneys general of California, Illinois and New Jersey will be holding a virtual press conference at 1 p.m. to announce forthcoming legal action.
While details on what actions will be taken have not been released, Neronha said that it will be related to conditional federal funding.
The case will be filed in Federal District Court in Rhode Island.
Neronha has been heavily involved in many suits against the Trump administration, with a separate release promoting an upcoming speaking event at Hope High School noting that he has been involved in 15 separate lawsuits against the administration in fields ranging from clean energy to voting rights to healthcare.
