New artists needed for Wickford Art Festival next summer
WICKFORD, R.I. (WLNE) — New artists are needed for the Wickford Art Festival next summer.
The Wickford Art Association said the annual celebration will be held on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14 at Wilson Park in historic Wickford Village.
Organizers said eligible creations include various types of art like furniture, fiber, and jewelry as well as ceramic, paint, drawing, and different forms of illustration.
The displays of art mediums “transforms the park into an open-air gallery, creating a unique and picturesque atmosphere,” organizers said.
Online artist applications will be open from Jan. 15 to April 15. The jury fee is $35.
