New Bedford Community Preservation Committee to hold public hearing

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Community Preservation Committee will hold a public hearing this evening for public input on the preservation’s fiscal plan for next year.
According to a release, the Community Preservation Plan aims to identify and establishes the city’s priorities; including recreational space, historic resources, and community housing.
Today’s public hearing is set for 6 p.m. at the New Bedford Public Library, however written comments from the draft proposal will be accepted until July 5 and can be sent to CPA@newbedford-ma.gov or by mail to the Department of City Planning.
