New Bedford couple’s narcotics operation thwarted by police

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE)- Dartmouth Police, Massachusetts State Police, and the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office put an end to a New Bedford couple’s narcotics operation on Wednesday.
Waleska Torres Rosario, 51, and Angel Rosa Santiago, 30, were arrested at the Moby Dick Motel.
The couple had allegedly been selling cocaine out of the motel.
During the arrest, detectives seized 3.4 grams of suspected cocaine, 6.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and $1,309 in cash.
Torres Rosario is being charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance.
Rosa Santiago is being charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, and one count of possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, subsequent offense.
